Founder Story
Homii was built from a simple truth:
Finding where to go is easy.
Finding where you belong is hard.
The systems for friendship and community disappear after school. People are left trying to build connection through random events, group chats, dating apps, and scattered platforms that were never designed for real belonging.
People do not just need recommendations. They need trusted spaces, aligned people, and repeatable ways to build real-world relationships.
I saw this everywhere through leadership, moving cities, building community across countries, and living abroad. As a Black American woman navigating new spaces, I understood quickly that belonging is never neutral.
Vietnam became proof of that for me. What started as a temporary stop became home because of community.
